Asus recently announced their latest models of touchscreen pads both powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo CULV processor and Windows 7 operating systems. The Asus Eee Pad EP121 sports a 12-inch display screen and comes with a 10 hour life battery pack. The Asus Eee Pad EP101TC features a 10-inch display running on 10-inch Windows Embedded Compact 7 OS.

From the looks of it the Asus Eee Pad EP121 will work like any CULV ultraportabe netbook similar to the Asus UL20. Earlier reports point out that the Asus Eee Pad EP101TC is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset with 3D graphics and HD video capabilities. Market retail sale price for both costs about $399 to $499.
